A skill is a small instruction file (SKILL.md) that teaches an assistant how to do one job your way: what to ask for, the steps, the format, the quality bar. Claude and ChatGPT both load skills automatically when your request matches.
Yes. Skills use the open Agent Skills format, so one file installs in both Claude and ChatGPT. On your phone, paste it into any chat and it works right away. Using another assistant? Cast a general skill instead: plain instructions that work in any AI chat or Project.
You can. You will get a paragraph of adjectives. Skillphorm asks the right questions, then writes real decision rules, defaults, an exact output template, a worked example and a checklist. Run a test drive and compare.
Your briefs and skills are stored privately in your account and never shown to anyone else or used to train models. Delete any cast, or your whole account, from settings.
